I know I'm biased because I'm talking about my hubby, but the reality is when I really look at his photography, I know through and through how gifted he really is. I'm blessed to be along for the ride! So, today I decided to feature some of his best work that also happens to be my favorites!
"The Arches", this is the print on sale this week from hubby's website. I love the mood he created here, it looks more like an art piece than a photo.
From L to R: "Fisherman's Knot" and "Heceta Trees", both of these are "grab shots" meaning they are shots he takes for fun and he sells them for considerably less because the print sizes for grab shots are 5" x 7"s. I love the effects he used for both to make them so dramatic.
"God Beams", hubby's main purpose is to share the beauty of God through his photos and I was with him when he took this shot. It was such a beautiful morning and the glow from the sun made us really feel like we were looking at God's glory.
"Morning Dew", one of my absolute favorites because he captured the rain drops while blurring out the back branches. Just beautiful!
"North Jetty Sunrise", I love rocks and I take a bunch of rock pics but they don't look like his.
"The Bridge", the angle here is cool cause the picture draws me in and I actually want to take a walk across it to see what's on the other side. This was taken at one of the trails at Cape Perpetua.
"The Shell", we were at Thor's Well when this was shot. I remember all the shells we were stepping around and hubby fixed his eyes on this particular one and made it stand out from the rocks.
"Twin Paths of Light" - A different angle from Cape Perpetua with two beams of light coming down through the trees.
These and so many more photos are on sale on my hubby's website and I hope you'll go take a look! He is an awesome and gifted artist. Only the Lord could give him the eye he has when he's at work creating these pieces. I'm amazed oftentimes of what the finished print will look like.
His website is kenmcdougal.com. "I love you baby!"
